It is our mission to improve the quality of life in Prince William County, Manassas, and Northern Virginia through the art of Ballet.  We accomplish this by providing accessible and affordable cultural arts performances to the public and by annually providing free performances to thousands of schoolchildren in our community

Our work has been recognized in the local press and by "The Washington Post." This attention helps contribute to the Manassas/Prince William County area becoming known as a regional arts/tourist destination. Manassas Ballet Theatre is, as the Washington Post said, "another boon to the spurt of growth in (Manassas)."

As with most cultural arts events, ticket sales do not fully cover the cost of the productions. The difference is made up from the generous support of individuals, small businesses, large corporations and governmental agencies. We are grateful for the support of many sponsors in our community, including American Express, Micron, City of Manassas, Potomac News/Manassas Journal Messenger, the Prince William County Arts Council, Target, the Washington Post and the Commonwealth of Virginia through its' Commission For The Arts. The Commission For The Arts has recognized MBT for "Full Support" since 2000.

Manassas Ballet Theatre is a nonprofit, 501 c(3) corporation that has served our community for Over 20 years. It is our mission to improve the quality of life in our community through the art of ballet. We accomplish this by providing accessible and affordable professional cultural arts performances and by offering free performances to schoolchildren in our community. Your support is tax deductible and goes directly to producing our performances.
